Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH continues success of the previous years
A few days ago, the internationally active Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) has con-cluded a new contract for the construction of the 2nd stage of extension of a plant for the produc-tion of expandable polystyrene in Perm. The first engineering works were already started. This order with a value of approx. Euro 25 Million is just one of several others that fill CAC’s order books for the upcoming years. Projects in natural gas storage technology and chlorine-alkali electrolysis account for a major proportion of the good order development. Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) is planning, among other things, two large projects in Austria. The company is also planning and constructing membrane electrolysis plants in Berezniki/Perm region and in Moscow as well as sulphuric acid plants, in cooperation with CAC’s subsidiary HUGO PETERSEN in Antwerp and Armyansk. As at June 30, 2010, Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH had a staff of 245 employees. Since its formation in the wake of an MBO on April 1, 2004, CAC, with a tradition of more than 45 years, has hired more than 100 new employees. The economic crisis was successfully overcome without any short-time working or layoffs. The managing directors are well aware of the importance of a company’s personnel resources and attribute CAC’s very strong market development to the high quality engineering services provided by the company.
